Valentines Day Origin and Some Tips

Couples Day, Hearts Day, Lovers Month etc.etc.or simply Valentines day for most of Us. For sure lots of couple will be celebrating this events with lots of luxurious gift for their love ones. But do you know where valentines day really came from? It was all started in Ancient Rome, February 14th was a holiday to honor Juno, Queen of the Roman Gods and Goddesses. The Feast of Lupercalia started the next day.Saint Valentine was the ancient saint name after the valentines day which derives from the word VALENS which means worthy, nothing is known for this saint except his name and that he was buried at the Via Flaminia north of Rome on February 14 , since then they've started celeberting February 14 as Valentines day. And since I myself really love to celebrate Vday with my love ones but don't have any material gift that I can give specially to my husband so I thought of some simple and inexpensive gifts and ways to celebrate Valentine's Day.

* Make a Valentine card out of some scrap materials you can find in your home.

*Cook something special (dinner maybe) for the whole family

* Write a love letter that will surely melt his/her heart.

* Leave a message to all of his/her social network like friendster, facebook, tumbler, multiply etc. this 8 letter word "ILOVEYOU" or some lovable quote.

* Give him/her foot or back massage.

* Make Some Romantic Music Video for him/her like this one.

There are still a lot of Valentine's Day money saving tips that you can add if you want too. But for now these are some of the tips that I can share. Some information on where and how Valentines Day started it's celebration. Happy Midweek to all. Valentines Countdown ( 4 ) days to go before the V day celebration.
