Flowers are the sweetest things God ever made and forgot to put a soul into.

I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud
William Wordsworth -1804

I wandered lonely as a cloud

That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.

I happened upon your blog from Spiritual Sundays. I say "happened upon" because I don't usually get by there this time of the week.

Anyway, good to "see" you on Spiritual Sundays. I love daffodils - I'm so glad spring is almost upon us.

Blessings,
Joan

I love William Wadsworth poetry, but not nearly as much as my daughter. He's her favorite poet. I should link her to you. Also, beautiful picture of the yellow flower. I'm so glad spring has returned!

Thank you for sharing this with all of us. God bless you!!

My golden daffodils were covered with snow today. That is rare in East Texas.

Beautiful post.

Have a blessed week.
