MellowYellowMondayBadge
MellowYellowBadge

Birthday as the word implies according to Wiki was the anniversary of the particular day on which the person was born. This April, two in our family had their birthday.

Actually only one of them had the real birthday but since my husband celebrated his birthday twice so we decided to celebrate it anyway together with his son.

And that birthday cake goes to them for they deserve to live life to the fullest...Love you dear and love you PJ...HAPPY BIRTHDAY to both of you. So I have decided to make it as my entry for today's
MELLOW YELLOW MONDAY and also for my first entry for BLUE MONDAY

Just love to share the lighted candle and the yellow Pokemon for it made my son's birthday happy just having that little stuff.

Letting Go of the Past

singing birds

Have you ever experience sad moments in your life? Lost or Betrayal maybe? that someone did something bad and you feel that you don't deserve it. I believed some point in our life we all experienced this kind of feelings.

The feeling of lost, of being betrayed, and the feeling of sadness because of happenings that was unavoidable. Past experience that until now still haunting us in the present life. Past was pertaining to a former time or state; neither present nor future. They said gone were the days but why others still agonizing the past trouble or past offences.

I myself have the tendency of doing that until I've read this bible verses on Jeremiah 29:11 for I know the plans I have for you, says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you future and a hope"

Though I know it was easier said than done but I am getting over it little by little and the big question was how? Like most things that are important, it takes time. Time does heal a wound. And in every healing there is a process.

1. ACCEPTANCE

I believed that acceptance was the number one and most important rule in healing the wounds created by the past. Recognizing it was partly giving us the authority to control the situation and the rest is up to chances and circumstances.

2. GRIEVE

Next was grieve, grieving was known when we lost a loved ones but the truth is we can also grieve in other kinds of sadness that we experience in our daily lives. We need that to move on, to release all the negative vibration we have. While in this process we will feel different emotions from joy, anger, hurt, confusion, uncertainty, self-doubt to insecurity and that was all normal.

3. CLOSURE

The closure was like putting appropriate punctuation in the past incidents. To end the grieving process, to end the feeling of lost and the feeling of sadness. Closure depends entirely to the person being hurt. I for example I never let the past ruin my future. Yes, I was hurt but that was just a feeling, as long as we never did something wrong to the person who hurt us, their conscience will haunt them especially when KARMA strikes back I believe.

4. GETTING OVER

Getting over was like counting your blessing over the most painful things ever happened and you will realize there was more good than bad experiences after all. Consider the long moment of happiness to just a split moment of bad encounter and finally we can achieve a happy and peaceful life that we all want because happiness really lies within us.

And before I end, I want to quote this from my friend's FB account "At the end of the day the one who loves you will not make you cry at night about him/her. They will be right beside you telling you it will be alright" so when you feel bad about the past just tried to focus on the present and feel lucky that you still have someone around that can make you feel happy.

Farmville Villa

My 1st Villa Ever

Farmville was so popular nowadays to a lot of people, especially to the millions of Facebook user. I, for sure became hook after just trying it for myself. Farmville actually was just a simple cyber or online games of make believe.

I can create my own imagination and my own dreams that I am someone whose rich as anybody else. That I own a huge and wonderful farm with different houses that I built which was hard to create on my real world of hardship, poverty, and chaos. Farmville was extremely simple. It allows you to grow crops, buy animals and decorate your farm as beautiful as it was and as how you like it as it seems. By farming you are given coins as part of your harvest, and cash plus experience if you level up (how I wish I can do this in the real world).

Planting crops was the most important part of Farmville games, for you can make a huge amount of money in the shortest period of time. There are three stages in planting crops: plowing, planting, and harvesting (which the latter was the most fulfilling part). Doing this every day I've realized that Farmville and life has a lot of things in common.

That we also need tactics in life to get what we wanted to be and how we can get there. Last week I was able to buy my 1st ever Villa, after six months of playing Farmville every day (how I wish this was possible in real life to have a big mansion in just short period of time hehehe).

These are the things I've learned in playing this game.

1. The discipline not to buy anything so that in the long run you can buy more valuable than simple things being offered every day,

2. The patience of waiting at your plants and checking it every day if they are already in their harvest time,

3. The creativity to beautify your farm by arranging every detail and every part of it,

4. The diligence of feeding your animals because you do not want them to get hungry and

5. The happiness of receiving gifts and the friendship made by sending it back.

These are the few things that I've learned and like in everyday farming, not to mention those who appreciate my work and telling me that I have a very beautiful Farm. It makes my heart happier and became more addictive to Farmville. Have you tried playing the games? If not, try it for sure it was a truly stress relieving games.

Filipinos are great writer

I cannot help but to admire some blog of my fellow Filipino (too many to mention just try all my links). I am quite busy this past few months because some problem occurs and I just don't have the moods to write but still thankful for those who visited my blog and still leave comments despite not being so active. And recently I found some nice and great blog to read since they leave a comment on my comment box telling me how wonderful my blog was (Thanks, Thanks, Thanks and a lot of thanks) so out of courtesy of visiting my blog, I cannot help but to visit their blog too. And for someone like me who has never born a writer and trying to be one (hehehe), It was somehow a bit more encouraging to write more when a good writer leaves good comments on my blog.

Beautiful as it was

How I wish that I can write, beautiful words as others can. With a kiss of Imagination in theirs heads, envious feelings that I had for them. Carving letters in their minds were their expertise while reading wonderful notes was my gift. Sometimes it lingers in my thoughts, what if same like them that I can express feelings. In a wonderful blank pages of notes with pen or pencil on my hands.

How happy that I can be, if word of wisdom will I write in tune. But I think God has other plans for me, to express my feelings in the simplest way can be. However writing words was not my forte indeed, but here I am trying hard to write something, that runs into my heads.

I just hope that it bring blessings to everyone, with this simple blog of mine that I made.
Now I know and realize why God created people in different ways. Others write in mysterious ways while others were born to do what others can't. And by this my friend I know that I was born, to love and admire others work of art so I can create a lovely poem like this for them.

So they may know how writers are highly appreciated. Because writing wonderful words was not as simple as it maybe, But it is a gift from God above.

This one's for YOU

That Should be ME

Everybody's laughing in my mind
Rumors spreading bout this other girl
Do you do what you did what you did with me
Does she love you the way I can
Did you forget all the plans that you made with me
Cause baby I didn't

That should be me holding your hand
That should be me making you laugh
That should be me this is so sad
That should be me
That should be me feeling your kiss
That should be me buying you gifts
This is so wrong I can't go on
'Till you believe That that should be me

You said you needed a little time from my mistakes
It's funny how you used that time to have me replaced
Did you think that I wouldn't see you out at the movies
What you doin' to me You're taking her where we used to go
Now if you're trying to break my heart
It's working cause you know

That that should be me holding your hand
That should be me making you laugh
That should be me this is so sad,That should be me
That should be me feeling your kiss
That should be me buying you gifts
This is so wrong I can't go on
'Till you believe That should be me

I need to know why i shouldn't fight for your love
Or disarm It's getting harder to shield, This pain is my heart

Ooh Ooh

That should be me
your giving flowers
That should be me
Talking you for hours
That should be me
Never should've let you go
I never should've let you go
That should be me

It was really hard to love someone especially if he is now loving somebody else. Looking back I also have this regret, that too often when I loved, I did not show or reciprocate the love that the person has given me.

And the saddest part is to love someone who used to love you, but he is loving someone now and the circumstances don’t let you have them. Looking back again I believed that without heartaches and pain I may never love the man I have now unconditionally without those experienced. Hope everyone who reads this maybe able to learned from it.

Art of War

If you know thy enemy and know thyself, you can fight a thousand battles without loosing even one of them--Sun Tzu, Art of War

One of the best quote I've read so far written in the book Art of War by Sun Tzu. I believed that this quote was not only applicable in war but can also be applied in our everyday living.

Sometimes in our lives we cannot avoid experiencing an incident that can make us or break us as a human individual. The experience that will make us realize who we are and why we are here. As I am writing this, my whole army is already sleeping hehehe...I cannot sleep thinking that maybe tomorrow they were all gone. (Me and my stupid imagination) grabi mag isip.

But sometimes that way of thinking that I have seems to be the strongest weapon I have so far as a warrior of life. Aside of course for knowing myself. Sometimes we cannot avoid hurting people especially the one we love so badly, but if we know that our principles are firm and we only want a peaceful and happy life I think nothing can go wrong in our journey in this so called life.

Below are also some quotes in the book that I find quite interesting to share that can use in our everyday life:

1. A leader leads by example not by force.

2. Swift as the wind, Quiet as the forest, Conquer like the fire, Steady as the mountain.

3. Pretend inferiority and encourage his arrogance.

4. He who knows when to fight and when he can not will be victorious.

5. All warfare is based on deception.

6. Victorious warriors win first and then go to war while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win.

7. Management of many is the same as management of few. It is a matter of organization.

8. For to win one hundred victorious in one hundred battles is not the acme of skills. To subdue the enemy without fighting is the acme of skill.

9. When surrounded by the enemy you must leave a way to escape.

10. The best victory is when the opponents surrender of its own accord before there are any actual hostilities. It is best to win without fighting.

11. One defends when his strength is inadequate, he attacks when it is abundant.

12. If your opponent is of choleric temperament, seek to irritate him.

Thus, what is supreme importance in war is to attack the enemy's strategy.

Sumatra Indonesia 7.8 EarthQuake

An earthquake happens all the time and anywhere these days. Just this morning at 6:15 am while my husband and I still enjoying the comfort of our bed, I've got scared when we heard our furniture moves and my husband told me that there was an earthquake. We hurriedly went to our children's bedroom just to make sure they are safe and thank God they are. It has actually happened in Sumatra Indonesia but since Malaysia was a neighboring country so the wave reaches us. I think no one doesn't scare not to happen to them what happened in HAITI, CHILE and other countries that made natural disasters, like earthquake quite memorable. What is earthquake actually? Just a bit of information earthquake also known as quake, tremor, temblor and according to wiki it is the result of a sudden release of energy in the Earth's crust and that creates seismic waves. There are a lot of deadly earthquakes that happens in the past and one of the most unforgettable was the HAITI because it was the recent one, which loose lives of more than 200thousand people estimated. A lot are still missing and more people are dying because of disease, starvation and lack of medical care cost by the disaster. Before HAITI, there was ITALY which took more than 200 lives. And after HAITI there was CHILE with 8.8 magnitude last February which made a lot of damage and casualties. What must we do when disasters like an earthquake strike? I believed PRAYER was still the most powerful tools in any disaster like this, but some precaution I got on the net and wanted to share it with you, after all there's nothing to loose.

Before the Earthquake:

  • Learn how to survive the ground motion. This is described in the "During the Earthquake" section below. The earthquake safety tips there will prepare you for the fast action needed - most earthquakes are over in seconds so knowing what to do instinctively is very important.
  • Teach all members of your family about earthquake safety. This includes 1) the actions you should take when an earthquake occurs, 2) the safe places in a room such as under a strong desk, along interior walls, and 3) places to avoid such as near windows, large mirrors, hanging objects, heavy furniture, and fireplaces.
  • Stock up on emergency supplies. These include battery operated radio (and extra batteries), flashlights (and extra batteries), first aid kit, bottled water, two weeks food and medical supplies, blankets, cooking fuel, tools needed to turn off your gas, water, and electric utilities.
  • Arrange your home for safety: Store heavy objects on lower shelves and store breakable objects in cabinets with latched doors. Don't hang heavy mirrors or pictures above where people frequently sit or sleep.
  • Anchor heavy appliances and furnitures such as water heaters, refrigerators, and bookcases.
  • Store flammable liquids away from potential ignition sources such as water heaters, stoves, and furnaces.
  • Get Educated. Learn what to do during an earthquake (see below). Then you will be ready for the fast action needed. Make sure that all members of your family have this important education.
  • Learn where the main turn-offs are for your water, gas and electricity. Know how to turn them off and the location of any needed tools.

During the Earthquake:

  • If you are indoors, stay there. Quickly move to a safe location in the room such as under a strong desk, a strong table, or along an interior wall. The goal is to protect yourself from falling objects and be located near the structural strong points of the room. Avoid taking cover near windows, large mirrors, hanging objects, heavy furniture, heavy appliances or fireplaces.
  • If you are cooking, turn off the stove and take cover.
  • If you are outdoors, move to an open area where falling objects are unlikely to strike you. Move away from buildings, power lines, and trees.
  • If you are driving, slow down smoothly and stop on the side of the road. Avoid stopping on or under bridges and overpasses or under power lines, trees and large signs. Stay in your car.

After the Earthquake:

  • Check for injuries, attend to injuries if needed, help ensure the safety of people around you.
  • Check for damage. If your building is badly damaged you should leave it until it has been inspected by a safety professional.
  • If you smell or hear a gas leak, get everyone outside and open windows and doors. If you can do it safely, turn off the gas at the meter. Report the leak to the gas company and fire department. Do not use any electrical appliances because a tiny spark could ignite the gas.
  • If the power is out, unplug major appliances to prevent possible damage when the power is turned back on. If you see sparks, frayed wires, or smell hot insulation turn off electricity at the main fuse box or breaker. If you will have to step in water to turn off the electricity you should call a professional to turn it off for you.
